ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Name and Numbers) requires domain owners to confirm their WHOIS contact information for new domain registrations, transfers, and contact modifications. 
 

How to verify contact information?
After you purchase your domain name, you will receive an email from the domain registry to verify your contact information. Simply click on the verification link in the email and your contact information will be verified.
Keep in mind that you should always use legit information while registering your domain name. 

Why have I not received an email for contact information verification?
Contact detail verification is required for the following TLDs:

.com
.xyz
.net
.org
.info
.biz
.asia
.name
.mobi
.info

Contact details verification is not needed if you have chosen a different domain extension.

When should I verify my contact information?
You should verify your contact information within 15 days from your domain registration date. The sooner you do it, the better.

How to find out to which email verification email was sent to?
Whois verification email was sent to the email you have used when registering your domain name. 

What if I have entered incorrect details or email? 
You can always change your domain Whois details and email by going to your Domain Management section, simply log in to your Hostinger Dashboard, click on "Domains", make sure to select "Domain management" and scroll to the bottom of the page. You will be able to change your details there.

What happens if I don't verify my contact information?
If you don't verify your domain contact information, your domain will be suspended and it will become unavailable. No worries! You can always confirm your details and your domain will start working again.  

What if my domain is already suspended?
If your domain is already suspended, please do not worry about it, simply locate the email from registrar and verify your details. Your domain will start working as soon as the DNS will propagate.

I cannot locate the email!
If you can't locate the email, you can simply go to your Domain Management section and press on "Resend Verification Email".
Can't see it? Please contact Hostinger Customer Success team, they will have an ability to resend you that email.
